Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior talked to TNT Sports Brazil ahead of the team’s crucial match against Atalanta in the first leg of the Champions League’s Round of 16, which will be played this Wednesday. Vinicius shared his feelings about his current situation and explained that he feels the club is supporting him.

“I’ve got 100% of Madrid’s trust, Zidane’s trust and also my teammates’ and the president’s. He always gives me strength and support and tells me he’s my biggest fan after my own family,” said Vinicius.

The young attacker has gotten a taste of the pressure every single Real Madrid player needs to face and overcome in order to be a key member of the club. Vinicius embraces that pressure and wants to succeed at Madrid.

“It’s always a big responsibility to play for Real Madrid, the greatest club in the world. But everyone in the club and my family give me peace so that I can only worry about playing. I’m close to reaching a hundred games for the club and I want to play 200, 300 or more for this club,” he explained.

Vinicius will be replacing Hazard in the starting lineup while the Belgian winger is injured. The Brazilian attacker said that Hazard gives him advice.

“He tells me to be calm and to never stop taking risks. He always talks to me, he’s a great person who’s always happy. It’s a dream to play with him,” concluded Vinicius.
