Varane: renewal looks difficult

AS’ cover is about Varane’s contract situation, which ends next year. He considered leaving the clube during season 18-19, but Zidane’s return convinced him to stay. At the moment, his renewal looks difficult. If no progress is made until June, the club will listen to offers. He appears to be the most valuable player in the squad: about 70 million of euros.

Will Ramos finally renew his contract?

Ramos’ situation is a different and is looking positive. According to Jorge Calabres, the player will renew his contract for 2 more years, accepting the 10% reduction due to the Covid-19 crisis. According to Marca, the idea is to take advantage that Ramos is injuried and to resolve the issue before he returns to the pitch. Previous rumours suggested El Capitan will return March 16, in the 2nd leg against Atalanta.

Trainning session

Yesterday, Hazard, Rodrygo, Valverde, Odriozola, Militão, Marcelo and Benzema trained both indoors and in the pitch, but not with the rest of the squad.
