UPDATE 15:58 CET: Hazard was able to train with the squad for the first few minutes of the session but then left with a potential injury. More here.
Sergio Ramos and Eden Hazard were able to rejoin Real Madrid’s squad in training this Wednesday and should be available when Los Blancos face Huesca next weekend. Ramos has recovered from the muscle injury which kept him out of Real’s last few games while Hazard just missed Tuesday’s training with muscle fatigue.
Ramos’ return to the team is crucial given Madrid’s lack of options in the center of the defensive line. Militao will be suspended after the red card he saw against Levante and Nacho is out with Covid-19. That means that Varane was the only pure center-back available, so having Ramos back is great news for Zidane and his coaching staff.
Lucas Vazquez and Carvajal are still out and could need some more time to recover properly from their injuries, although their return should be close. Fede Valverde and Rodrygo are also injured and will need to be a bit more patient before they can train with their teammates.
