Real Madrid have published their squad list for Saturday’s away match against Huesca —16:15 CET—. Only 17 players are available.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.
Defenders: R. Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, F. Mendy and Chust.
Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro and Marvin.
Forwards: Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr. and Mariano.
Nacho is back with the team after recovering from Covid-19 and that’s great news for coach Zinedine Zidane given that Sergio Ramos will miss the game even though he trained with the squad earlier this week.
Real Madrid’s lack of depth is now obvious as only six players will sit on the bench against Huesca. Considering that Lunin and Altube are goalkeepers and that Chust and Marvin are Castilla players, Los Blancos will only have two first-team players who will be able to enter the game off the bench.
Will Madrid be able to survive and bounce back from the disappointing loss to Levante?
