Real Madrid defenders Alvaro Odriozola and Eder Militao are not training with the squad and will miss Tuesday’s match against Getafe, just like Vázquez, Carvajal, Valverde, Kroos (suspended), Ramos, Rodrygo and Eden Hazard.

That means coach Zinedine Zidane will have a very hard time building his starting lineup for the game, with Mendy almost certainly playing as the team’s right-back and Marcelo back in the left-back spot. Isco will replace Kroos in the midfield, so while Madrid’s XI will still be strong, Mariano could be the only first-team player sitting on the bench.

Castilla players Marvin Park or Arribas could have a decent shot at playing some minutes off the bench against Getafe. Coach Zinedine Zidane has given them minutes so far this season, so they could try to make some impact if Real Madrid need to shake things up later in the game.

Getafe will be expected to sit back and wait for counterattacks, so Real Madrid will need a creative game plan if they want the three points.
