Real Madrid announced their squad list for Tuesday’s match against Getafe, which belongs to the first week of La Liga and was postponed because both teams ended the 2019-2020 late because of their matches in the Champions League and the Europa League.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.
Defenders: R. Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, F. Mendy, Chust and Miguel.
Midfielders: Modrić, Casemiro, Isco, Marvin, Arribas and Blanco.
Forwards: Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr. and Mariano.
This is yet another thin squad list for Real Madrid, even more so than the one for Saturday’s game. Odriozola and Militao are now out, so Zidane will likely have to start Mendy on the right. Kroos is also missing the game after seeing his fifth yellow card on Saturday, so Isco will likely play alongside Modric and Casemiro tomorrow.
Real Madrid will need creativity if they want the three points, given that Getafe will be expected to defend efficiently.
