Arsenal ran out 3-1 victors away to Greek side, Olympiacos, in the UEFA Europa League round of 16. The opening goal came courtesy of Real Madrid loanee, Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian playmaker was granted far too much time and space outside of the box to unleash a knuckle ball which Jose Sa failed to properly handle:

Odegaard went on to produce one of his best games in an Arsenal shirt. He contributed with a team high 4 key passes, 2 out of 2 completed dribbles, and won 5 of his 6 ground duels. It felt like everything was flowing through Arsenal’s #11 in the second half. Odegaard has yet to rediscover his Real Sociedad form, but if today’s performance was anything to go by, he is inching closer.

After the match, Odegaard spoke to the press and revealed his happiness in securing the victory. “It’s a great victory for us, a great result with three goals away from home,” Odegaard told reporters. “Winning in this competition is always good. The mentality in this team is great. I’ve felt home from day one. I’m happy to be here, I feel very good.”
