Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes had a conversation with Real Madrid’s board this week to discuss the possibility of a return to the club, according to a report from El Chiringuito’s Josep Pedrerol and MARCA’s Jose Felix Diaz.

Pedrerol and his crew at El Chiringuito have good connections with Ronaldo’s camp, mainly Edu Aguirre, who confirmed Pedrerol’s report.

Both parts have now realized that they made the wrong decision when they parted ways almost three years ago. Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly not satisfied with what Juventus have accomplished during these seasons and the Italian side are also considering the departure of the Portuguese star because of his salary, per those same reports.

However, Real Madrid don’t seem to be very interested in this return and appear to be looking ahead in the transfer market, with Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe as the main targets. Ronaldo’s return would definitely decrease Real Madrid’s limited budget enough to make those two signings nearly impossible, so it doesn’t seem likely at this point and his signing for Juve will likely go down in history as one of the biggest mistakes Ronaldo himself and Real Madrid have done in the past few decades.
