Real Madrid’s home game against Atalanta is a crucial one. Los Blancos need to advance to the Quarterfinals of the Champions League and while they have a 0-1 lead on aggregate, they will still need to find a way to contain Atalanta without Casemiro, who is suspended.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Courtois, Nacho, Varane, Ramos, Mendy, Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Vinicius, Benzema.

Atalanta predicted XI: Sportiello; Toloi, Romero, Djimsiti; Maehle, de Roon, Pessina, Gosens; Illcic, Malinovskiy, Muriel.

Coach Zidane could decide to implement a 4-4-2 formation with Valverde and Isco now that Real Madrid have not been very effective through the wings. A 4-3-3 with Valverde in Casemiro’s spot is also a possibility, although Zidane should probably try to take advantage of Isco’s recent form.

All things considered, Real Madrid must find a way to play solid football and not concede many chances to score, given that a draw would be enough for Los Blancos to advance.
