OUR PRESIDENT.
It’s times like these that we must use to acknowledge & appreciate having a president like Florentino Perez. Yes he’s made some terrible decisions, but he has many redeeming qualities that we must look on. I’d like to say, thank you to Uncle Flo. One day, we will be getting a new president and we can only pray and hope he has a genuine heart for Madrid like Uncle Flo does. Often times, other clubs dirt aren’t in the news like ours, nor is it magnified in the news like ours tends to be. So we think we’re the only ones that have it bad/worse compared to others. But that is never reality, trust me. We are not the only friends darkness has.
YESTERDAY’S PAPER
Unfortunately, a draw was all we could get from Sociedad. But Vini marks his 100th appearance for our club with a goal. Another positive was the lively substitute appearances of both Fede Valverde and Rodrygo. The game was covered extensively in the immediate reaction, player ratings, 3 answers and 3 questions articles as well as the Managing Madrid podcast.
ONWARD
Somehow, Atletico have avoided utter collapse in February. Maybe it’s because there were only 28 days in February? lucky them. But we must keep marching on, not looking to the left or to the right, just forward to whatever title we can grasp.
