Militao rejoins Real Madrid squad in Tuesday’s training session

Real Madrid defender Eder Militao completes Tuesday’s training session with the rest of the squad and will be available when Los Blancos visit Atletico de Madrid in a crucial Madrid Derby next Sunday.

Militao will not be expected to play given that Raphael Varane and Nacho Fernandez have been doing a good job lately, but his presence will be needed if something happens to them.

Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema seem to be nearing a return to the squad as well, with the French striker being probable for the Derby. Ramos will not make it in time for that game but could be ready to start when Los Blancos take on Atalanta in the return leg of the Champions League’s Round of 16.

The next match against Atletico is crucial for Madrid after Monday’s draw, as Los Blancos can cut Atleti’s lead to two points if they manage to get the away win.
