Bayern Munich defender David Alaba reportedly has a contract agreement laid out with Real Madrid, according to ABC Deportes.
The reported agreement is a 4-year, €10 million deal with a €20 million signing bonus added on. It would be a free transfer as well since Alaba’s contract is set to expire with Bayern at the end of the season.
The deal would have Alaba, who turns 29 this summer, stay with Real until 2025. Fabrizio Romano reported a couple of months back that Alaba intended to sign a pre-contract with Real Madrid for around €12 million per season.
Recently, Romano reported that Alaba’s agent said that both sides have reached a “verbal agreement”, but nothing officially had been signed yet.
Pini Zahavi, agent of David Alaba, to Goal: “There’s no verbal agreement with Barcelona. The news is NOT true”. The only club that reached a ‘verbal agreement’ with Alaba is Real Madrid, as reported... but it’s not signed yet. #Alaba https://t.co/4TFIavQlyu

It’s hard to say whether ABC’s report is credible because there really is no other outlets confirming this, including Romano who has followed this closely, reporting these contract details.
We’ll have to keep watch as the summer window approaches and Alaba’s time with Bayern officially comes to a close.
