Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio talked to the media after the team’s solid 1-3 win against Celta Vigo where he managed to score off the bench right in the dying moments of the game. Asensio was happy with the performance of the team.

“We completed a very solid performance. We did a very good job defensively and offensively we created and converted chances, which was key. We knew we were facing a quality team and that we would have chances if we played well defensively and that’s what happened,” said Asensio.

The attacker has scored on Madrid’s last two games and believes that both the team and himself are working the right way.

“I’m happy, it’s now time to work very hard. I know the work we have to do as a team and good things will happen for us if we keep working hard,” he added.

That was Real Madrid’s last game before the upcoming FIFA break and it will be important for Los Blancos to keep their good form going after these two weeks.

“We’re in a good moment but we always want more. We know we’re entering the final stretch of the season, every game is important for us now and we want to win them all. We want to go step by step and now it’s time to rest a little and get ready for our next game,” concluded Asensio.
