Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard traveled to Belgium this weekend and got treatment for this current psoas injury with Dr. Lieven Maesschalk, who is a doctor for the Belgian national team. That’s according to a report from Belgian newspaper Het Laatse Nieuws which was confirmed by Cadena COPE as well.

Hazard has had a tough time with injuries ever since he joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 and is hoping to turn things around now. The attacker will still need some more time off the pitch before he can contribute and coach Zinedine Zidane will be expected to take a cautious approach with his recovery.

Teammate and friend Thibaut Courtois talked to VTM during this FIFA break and shared his thoughts about Hazard.

“After his previous injury he had some tough days but I see him working very hard every day in training and I’m sure that he’s as fit as ever,” said the goalkeeeper.
