Real Madrid Score Ten Goals In March

Real Madrid scored ten goals during March which ranks as the third most productive month for the 2020-21 season. During this period the team played five matches against Real Sociedad, Atletico Madrid, Elche, Atalanta and Celta Vigo most recently.

This stretch of games included sealing progression to the Champions League quarter finals and continuing an eight game undefeated streak in the league (which while impressive pales in comparison to Barcelona’s loss-less form since the turn of the year).

When adjusted for number of matches (or minutes played), March is actually a return to Real Madrid’s best scoring form as it’s the second highest month for goals scored per 90 minutes. The team will hope to use this as momentum — with six of the ten goals coming in the last two games — as it closes in on the business end of the season.
