Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez is set to become a free agent this summer and unlike Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric, it seems that he won’t get an extension with the club. A report from MARCA says that Bayern Munich are very interested in Vazquez as a free agent and the player is now allowed to sign a contract for next season.
Vazquez, who will turn 30 years old this summer, has found a new position for him during the last few seasons. He has been solid as a right-back and his work-rate as an offensive winger on the right makes him a good candidate for Bayern to improve their depth on that flank.
Real Madrid offered Vazquez an extension but the player turned it down thinking that he deserved a better contract, so both parts seem now determined to part ways in the summer, so if Bayern are indeed interested in his signing, Vazquez will find a quality club to continue his career in elite European football.
