FC Barcelona visit Real Madrid’s Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano in what will be the last El Clasico of the 2020-2021 season. Los Blancos earned a convincing 1-3 win at the Camp Nou last October and they’ve gained some momentum lately, putting themselves back into contention for La Liga title. Their win against Liverpool last Tuesday was arguably Madrid’s best performance in quite some time.

On the other hand, Barcelona have also shown improvements lately, mainly on offense, where the Griezmann, Dembele and Messi trio have been efficient over the last few weeks. Furthermore, Real Madrid will be without undisputed starters Carvajal, Varane and Ramos, so it won’t be easy for Los Blancos to contain Barça’s attacking efforts. Militao, Nacho and Lucas Vazquez will need to step up again.

All in all, this El Clasico has the ingredients for a very entertaining football match. Neither team can afford to lose and a draw would only benefit Atletico’s chances of winning the title, so both Barcelona and Madrid must try their very best to get the three points.
