OFFICIAL: Fede Valverde not available against Getafe due to Covid-19 protocol

Real Madrid have announced that midfielder Fede Valverde is in isolation due to Covid-19 protocoles, although he has tested negative for the virus twice. Valverde will miss tonight’s game against Getafe.

Real Madrid C. F informs that our player Fede Valverde has been in isolation since yesterday, Saturday 17 April, after being in direct contact with a person who has tested positive for Covid-19, although the player has tested negative in all the tests that he has undergone.

This is very problematic for Real Madrid given that Casemiro won’t be available tonight either. That means that coach Zinedine Zidane will have to start Kroos, Isco and Modric in the midfield hoping that they have the defensive work-rate and skills to be a solid midfield.
