Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard will be back with the team when Los Blancos host Betis this Saturday, as coach Zinedine Zidane announced during the pre-match press conference. Hazard recovered from his latest injury before the first leg against Liverpool but has spent the last few weeks training with the squad in order to improve his form and conditioning.
Luka Modric will also be back after missing Wednesday’s match against Cadiz, so the midfielder will likely make his return to the starting XI. On the other hand, Toni Kroos will not be available and neither will be Ferland Mendy, although Zidane is hoping to have them ready to face Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League Semifinals.
Another player who will likely play some minutes against Betis is Dani Carvajal, who is ready to play and whose return to the starting lineup is crucial considering the lack of depth Madrid have on the right-back spot.
