Real Madrid’s home match against Betis could be more crucial than most people expect. While some fans and analysts are already looking ahead to Chelsea’s visit on Tuesday to play the first leg of the Champions League Semifinals, this could very well be a decisive weekend in the race for the 2020-2021 Liga title.

Atletico de Madrid will visit Athletic Bilbao on Sunday while Barcelona play an away game in Villarreal, both of those games could be tough, which means that if they drop points and Madrid manage to beat Betis, they could be leading the table on Monday.

Luka Modric is expected to be back in the starting lineup and the same can be said about Carvajal, who hasn’t played in a while as he recovered from a muscle injury. Hazard is also back in the squad list and could play some minutes off the bench in order for Zidane to understand if he can be a factor against Chelsea.
