Advantage Barcelona in the La liga title race.

With both Madrid teams dropping points, Los Blancos in their draw with Betis followed by Atletico losing to Bilbao, Barcelona can go top of the table if they win their game in hand against Granada on Thursday. The Blaugrana overcame Villareal thanks to a Griezmann brace. The current la liga table looks like this. All to play for.

All eyes turn to Chelsea.

There’s good and bad omens leading up to the game. First lets get the bad ones out of the way. With Mendy still not practicing, he is almost certainly out of the game and Nacho will most likely fill in for the left back. It will be interesting to see if Zidane opts for a back 3 or back 4. That’s it just 1 bad omen. Now for the good omens. Tony Kroos is back and is expected to start. Since I’m a glass full kinda guy I consider the below a good omen too. Chelsea are only familiar with English rain not the Spanish kind. Advantage us!!

Las Blancas get their revenge.

Real Madrid Femenino defeated Madrid CFF 2-0 away from home after losing the Copa de la Reina Quarter-Finals against the same opponent. David Aznar’s side are currently in third just 1 point behind Levante. The game was covered in the immediate reaction and player ratings articles.
