LA LIGA:

The race for the La Liga title has been blown wide open again as a result of Atletico suffering a much needed defeat to Sevilla this past Sunday. A win in our next match will put us atop the league. Atletico survived their annual February meltdown, but have already started off April on the wrong foot.

BLACK MAGIC:

I’ve never been a believer before and i always took it as a joke. But it seems anytime Zidane resorts to activating his “Every game is a final” trap card, especially after some months of lukewarm results from the team, strange things begin to happen to other teams. Either they start suffering random injuries or they start losing games they should win. Meanwhile in our team, Benzema suddenly turns into noodle haired Cristiano and starts easily scoring game winners, vinicius begins to look like prime Henry, Modric & Kroos start playing like we’re still on the 22 games winning streak with Ancelotti and it doesn’t matter whether its Barca, Marca, or whatever else rhymes with barca, we’re going home with 3 points. And Casemiro begins to look like prime Yaya Toure with a hint of Busquets and finally, Lucas Vazquez suddenly turns into the most valuable player in the world again, in terms of being a RW or RB for us. Beating out Rodrygo, Asensio etc. I don’t like the suffering for points but its this part of the season where Zidane really earns his money.

ODEGAARD & CEBALLOS:

In other meh news, Arsenal continue to further certify their place as an irrelevant team in the PL with a resounding 3-0 loss to our CL quarterfinal opponents, Liverpool. Unfortunately we can no longer make 4th jokes about them anymore as they’re now in a worse position. This isn’t looking good for Odegaard and ceballos development as they entire team continue to be in poor form barring Ode. Arsenal have an important Europa League game coming up against World football powerhouse, Slavia Praha this thursday. Regardless of how Arsenal’s Europa league season goes, Odegaard and ceballos will be back with us after this season and our club will have to make some important decisions regarding the two.

ICYMI:

Kiyan covered 10 observations regarding our tactics and Odegaard, our Femenino team stomped out Longrono 4-0 with 4 different scorers. Here’s a statistical look at the fine individual season Tibo Courtios has been having. Gareth bale came in at the 88th minute for Spurs against New Castle, thanks to a Harry Kane early double, the match ended in a draw. Spurs play Man Utd next. We’ll see whether he starts for them or they remember his previous comments on using them for the Euros.
