Las Blancas and Madrid CFF will play midweek in the Copa de la Reina a few days before their important meeting in Primera Iberdrola.

Real Madrid Femenino will play cross-town rivals Madrid CFF in the quarterfinals of the Copa de la Reina. The draw was held at the headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation on Monday.

The quarterfinal will be played on April 21 or 22 in a one-legged knockout tie. The addition of the Copa de la Reina match makes it so Las Blancas will have to play Madrid CFF twice in less than a week. Madrid CFF have kept pace with Real Madrid Femenino in the race for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Qualification places so the two Madrid-based sides will have two important matches against each other at the end of April.

The semifinals of the Copa de la Reina will be played on either May 26 or 27 with the final being played on May 29 or 30. Both knockout rounds will be played at a single venue in the Community of Madrid.
