HENRY Jr
Once again, the magical trigger words “Every game is a final”, continue to yield good results for us. A long 60 yard ball from Toni Kroos to an already mobile Vinivius, who chests it down to his right as he blazes past Trent Alexander-Arnold and Phillips, he catches up to the ball and smashes it past one of the best keepers in the world in Alisson Becker. Putting his team up 1-0. Now the Vinicius that we know, would’ve kicked the ball to the ball boy behind Alisson for a goal kick. But because Zidane said those 5 magical words, “Every game is a final”. Instead, what i saw was prime 03-04 Invincible World beater, Theirry Henry, racing past TAA & Phillips towards Alisson, and clinically finishing the pass. Those 5 simple words made the end product of that play from Kroos to Vinivius to be what we all wanted from Vinicius, a goal. And if you thought the first was a fluke, Vinivius Henry Jr does it again in much tighter space.
LIVERPOOL
All good things come to an end....when you don’t try to prolong it. Just 2 years ago, Liverpool were on top of the world, and Klopp was unbeatable. Now Manchester City will soon be crowned the new EPL champions, and Liverpool won’t even be in the Europa League next season and are currently on the verge of crashing out of the CL once again. Barring we don’t give them Barca chances in the 2nd leg. Moral of the story, we have to buy Mbappe and haaland.
THE SECOND STORM
Lads, in 3 days we play against the nefarious, dark forces of Cataluyna. We must win this final. La Liga depends on it.
SHOUTOUT:
When the odds were stacked against Militao, one Madridista believed. When Varane caught Covid last minute, one Madridista believed. When Lucas Vazquez would’ve willingly played CB to make up for Varane’s exemption, One Madridista believed. In brightest day, in blackest night, no situation can withstand this Madridistas might. N!nja_KachoRi’s LIGHT!
ICYMI:
Sam Sharpe covers the immediate Reactions from our triumphant win against Liverpool. Followed by some major talking points from yesterday’s match. Zidane reassures us that the plan was always to play 4-3-3 after Varane’s exclusion due to Covid. Although many assumed he’d stick with the successful 3-5-2.
