Rodrygo: “I believe we can win La Liga, we will fight until the end”

Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes wrote his name on the scoresheet with a great finish for Madrid’s second goal on their convincing 1-4 victory against Granada. Rodrygo talked to Real Madrid TV right after the game and explained that the team will fight until the very end for the 2020-2021 La Liga title.

“We have a lot of strength, last year was this way too. We fought until the last play for the title and this year won’t be different. I believe we can win the title and we will fight until the end,” he said.

Rodrygo was asked about Zidane’s instructions before the match, since Real Madrid were in control throughout the entire game.

“Coach always demands this from us, he wants us to play with intensity from the get go so that we can get the lead as soon as possible. Then we obtained the result we wanted,” explained the attacker.

Rodrygo concluded his interview by discussing how crucial it is for Madrid to have both veteran and young players on the field at the same time.

“It’s very important because those who are experienced give us confidence in ourselves. They give us confidence and we put together their experience with our youth, that’s good for our team,” concluded Rodrygo.
