Real Madrid have published their squad list for Sunday’s away match against Athletic Bilbao, which will be their second t last of this 2020-2021 La Liga season.
REAL MADRID’S SQUAD LIST:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.
Defenders: E. Militão, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and Miguel.
Midfielders: Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco and Blanco.
Attackers: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Mariano and Rodrygo.
Marcelo is back with the team and could start on the left-back spot, although coach Zinedine Zidane might decide to keep trusting Miguel Gutierrez give how solid he’s been in the past couple of games. Odriozola will now be in better condition than last Thursday and seems ready to return to the starting lineup.
Zidane will have to build his lineup without Kroos and that likely means that Casemiro, Modric and Valverde will start in the midfield, with Isco and Blanco waiting on the bench in case something happens.
Real Madrid need the three points as this weekend is Atletico de Madrid’s first official chance of winning the title if Los Blancos lose against Athletic Bilbao.
