Real in talks with Raul

AS reports that Real Madrid would like to know what the Castilla coach is up to, because there’s a good chance that the first team job might be up for grabs. While Zidane hasn’t confirmed anything regarding a possible departure, it is also true that there is never that much smoke without fire. Therefore, it seems like a wise decision to look for possible replacements just in case. Keep in mind that apparently, the club also had a chat with Allegri last week (Robert Husby posted an article about this).

Hazard picked for Belgium’s EURO squad

Eden Hazard has been (predictably) picked for the Belgium NT squad, with his coach stating that his fitness is “really satisfactory”. I’m pretty sure he was chosen because of past accomplishments with the NT though, rather than his current run of form.

Transfer Stuff

  • 10 (!) Players just might be up for sale

Of course, take this with a grain of (sea) salt.

Still, while 10 players may be a bit of a stretch, these may be days for some tough goodbyes, like Marca mentions.

  • ...Aurier?!?! Didn’t see that one coming either, but hey, the transfer season’s near. We’ll be hearing lots of rumours.

Have a nice day everyone and may the Madridismo be with you.
