The report says that Ramos has recovered from tendinosis in his left leg muscle and will begin training with the squad on Wednesday. And that he will be available for Saturday’s match, which could decide a La Liga champion depending on results during the final weekend of league play.
Ramos played in the Champions League second leg loss against Chelsea. Since then, he has been recovering once again from injury as he did prior to that match.
Real Madrid’s fate in the title race is largely dependent on Real winning and Atletico losing away to Valladolid. Having the captain back available for the Villarreal match is a major boost to the squad and locker room.
