Real Madrid Femenino and Greenfly announced their partnership on Wednesday. Greenfly is a platform that provides soccer players with images and clips from matches and training sessions that players can post on their social media.

This deal is aimed to help the players, the club and ultimately the league draw larger audiences online and more social media interactions. The team’s interactions have already tripled thanks to Greenfly’s involvement with the club.

“Greenfly enables organizations like Real Madrid to more effectively collaborate with their most powerful advocates, their athletes,” Daniel Kirschner, Greenfly’s president and CEO, told Forbes.

“In sports, the bulk of social media activity, engagement and passion revolves around athletes. When clubs like Real Madrid use Greenfly to give athletes real-time access to authentic content, those athletes share that content with fans.

“This strengthens all relationships—between clubs and athletes, between athletes and fans, and ultimately between clubs and fans.”

Greenfly currently works with 27 leagues around the world including the German Bundesliga, the NBA and the MLB.
