Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard didn’t complete Friday’s training session with the rest of the squad and will likely miss Saturday’s crucial match against Villarreal, which will be the last of the season.
Nothing has been reported about Hazard’s absence just yet and coach Zinedine Zidane will likely address this topic during the pre-match press conference. Hazard has had a season full of injuries but was able to stay healthy for the last few games, where he showed some positive signs.
Hazard will likely focus on the upcoming UEFA Euro, where he will be expected to lead Belgium. If he manages to perform well and increase his current value, Madrid could ultimately try to part ways with him given that his signing has been a tremendous failure for them so far.
Real Madrid need to beat Villarreal this Saturday and then hope that Valladolid force Atletico to drop points in order to conquer the title.
