Real Madrid have published their squad list for Saturday’s decisive match against Villarreal, the last of the current 2020-2021 season.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Altube.
Defenders: E. Militão, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola and Miguel.
Midfielders: Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Isco and Blanco.
Forwards: Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Mariano and Rodrygo.
Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane are back with the team having recovered from their injuries, meaning that both of them could be available and ready to start. However, given how well both Militao and Nacho have performed lately, it might actually be safer to give them the chance to start as Ramos and Varane could lack conditioning and confidence. Still, this could be their last games as Real Madrid players if the reports are accurate, so Zidane’s decision remains to be seen.
Eden Hazard is not available after picking up a small hamstring strain, with Kroos also missing the game with Covid-19.
