So how bad WAS this season really?
This one caught my eye. Yes, Real Madrid just ended the season trophyless, for the first time since 2010. A trophyless season is a bad season. There’s no way around that. Nothing will sugarcoat the facts. However, we must also keep in mind that the team was devasted by constant injuries (60+ !!!), COVID cases and had received practically no reinforcements the previous summer. We can at least be proud of the fact that they gave their all and got where they did given the situation. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely. We’ve seen plenty of stronger Madrid sides. And of course, neither the fans nor the board want to see another trophyless season.
Real Madrid have failed to win a single trophy in a season for the first time since 2009-10.

Waiting for Fireworks
According to reports, Zidane was set to announced his departude after the final game of the season, but now it seems that there will be no hasty decisions this time around. The current coach and the club will both meditate on what their needs and wants are in the coming few days. Now, for the fans, this doesn’t change too many things; We knew there would be major announcements -fireworks, as I like to call them- after the end of the season and get those we will anyway. Show some Jedi-like patience boys and girls. I’m curious to find out what comes next as well.
| Zidane was planning to announce his decision to LEAVE the club today, but Real Madrid convinced him yesterday to wait until the next few days so they can discuss the future of the club together. @edupidal #rmalive

Real Madrid are waiting for his final decision. In case Zizou leaves, Massimiliano Allegri will be the favourite to replace him. ⚪️

"I'm proud of my players, they gave it all."
So, here’s today’s game; Cast your vote. ♫ Should I stay or should I go ♫ This one, though, isn’t about whether Zidane should stay, but instead about whether he will end up staying.
