Bale told SkySports: “I am feeling good. I just needed to play games, I just needed a run of games and I am kind of doing that now. I am happy and when I am happy I normally play well.”
It was the Welshman’s first Premier League hat trick since he netted one against Aston Villa in December 2012.
Bale has scored 9 goals for the Spurs this season. He’s been efficient as he leads the Premier League in goals per shots. It’s worth mentioning Bale finished off his hat-trick with a golf celebration.
Bale is on loan through the remainder of the season. There has been no word if Tottenham plans to extend his contract past its conclusion, though it is likely he returns to his parent club this summer. He is signed with Real Madrid through 2022 and there’s also been no word if either side wishes to continue the relationship past this summer.
