Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard is on the club’s transfer block and Los Blancos will let him go if they receive a €50 million offer, according to a report published on Spanish newspaper ABC. Madrid are “sick of Hazard’s lack of professionalism” and will definitely accept such an offer if it comes their way, per that same report.
While the report is relevant because it mentions that Real Madrid are indeed keen on selling the winger, it’s extremely unlikely that Eden Hazard has such a market in 2021. He’s spent the last two seasons mostly injured and hasn’t been particularly impressive when he was on the pitch either, so a €50 million offer for him seems to be very unrealistic at this point. Furthermore, Hazard would also demand a big contract, something which would make a deal even more difficult in the current financial context.
Wanting to sell Hazard seems very reasonable and the best decision Real Madrid can make if they truly want to get some contracts off their books in order to afford Mbappe or Haaland, but finding a club interested in taking the Belgian winger will be very, very difficult for Los Blancos.
