Real Madrid host Sevilla just three days after being knocked out of the Champions League Semifinals with a 2-0 loss to Chelsea. Los Blancos desperately need to bounce back, as they will win the 2020-2021 La Liga title if they win their remaining four games starting tonight.
Atletico de Madrid and Barcelona dropped points this Saturday, so Real Madrid’s mission is now clear. Win out and they’ll conquer La Liga. However, Sevilla have been performing very well lately and Madrid will miss crucial players like Carvajal, Varane, Mendy or Ramos, so they will have to take care of business without their starting defensive line.
Odriozola and Marcelo will have to step up, although coach Zidane could also give Fede Valverde the chance to start on the right side of Madrid’s defensive line just like he did when Los Blancos visited Anfield a month ago. Sevilla are a very dangerous team through the flanks, so Zidane’s men better be ready to play with composure and intensity from the very first minute.
