Real Madrid are planning on selling €160 million worth of players this summer, according to a report published on ABC. Raphael Varane, Luka Jovic, Dani Ceballos are on the transfer block and could be leaving the club this summer, although it’s not clear if Madrid’s plans are realistic or not.

ABC mentions that Los Blancos want €70 million for Varane, €35 million for Jovic, €30 million for Ceballos and €25 million for Isco, with other players like Odriozola, Mariano or Brahim reportedly available for €20 million as well. Getting rid of Bale or Marcelo’s contracts even if the club allows them to leave as free agents would be great news for Madrid as well.

Finding clubs keen on adding those players for such a price in the current financial context will not be easy, given that only Raphael Varane has been playing relevant and consistent minutes in elite football recently. With almost every club in the world of football aware of the fact that Madrid truly need to sell these players in order to fund the signing of Mbappe, the task will be a tough one for the board.
