Brahim: “I have no idea about my future, I hope I can know something soon”

It looks like the attacker could sign another loan deal with Milan, although this time the Italian club might have an option to buy him.

Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz completed a very promising season with AC Milan where he established himself as a crucial player for the Italian side and proved that he can be a relevant player on a quality team. His loan deal with Milan just expires and while he should be set to make his return to Madrid, it looks like Los Blancos haven’t seen enough from him and that he will stay in Milan for another season.

Brahim talked about his future in a press conference.

“I’m very happy with everything I’ve experienced so far. Real Madrid and Milan are two great clubs but right now I have no idea about my future,” he said when asked about the matter.

Reports from the Spanish press suggest that Milan and Madrid could extend the loan deal, with the Italian side now having an option to buy the player next summer. If that happens, Madrid are ultimately trying to add their own option to buy the player back, per those same reports.

“I hope I can know something soon. I’ve been very happy in Real Madrid and I’m very happy in Milan, where we achieved our goal and it was an unbelievable season for me particularly. We’ll see what happens,” he added.

Brahim would be a great fit on Real Madrid’s right wing, where other players like Rodrygo or Asensio haven’t looked so comfortable playing. Still, it seems that Los Blancos aren’t convinced and need to see more from the young attacker before giving him a chance, so new coach Carlo Ancelotti will have the final decision about Brahim’s immediate future.
