Real Madrid have decided to put midfielder Dani Ceballos on their transfer block and want to sell the player for €30 million, according to a report published on ABC. The midfielder is under contract until 2023 but Madrid will not extend his deal, with clubs like Milan or Betis potentially interested in his signing, per that same report.
Therefore, this time Ceballos will leave Real Madrid for good after spending the last two seasons on a loan deal with Arsenal. The midfielder himself said that he wanted “to establish himself,” indicating that he wasn’t keen on another loan.
It won’t be easy for Madrid to find a €30 million offer in the current financial context. Betis, for instance, don’t have that kind of money. Meanwhile, Milan seem to be focusing on extending Brahim Diaz’s loan, so Los Blancos might need to lower their expectations and accept a smaller offer if they want to get rid of Ceballos this summer.
