There’s no time to rest. International football is in full flow and Real Madrid Femenino is renewing talent and saying goodbye to players at a dizzying pace. Only a few minutes ago, Brazilian central midfielder Thaisa Moreno announced her departure from the team on Instagram.

Her translated message reads:
2 very intense years of many ups and downs but the time has come to pursue new dreams, seek to evolve in other horizons.
All [the] success in the world to my ex-partners in this new stage among the greats of Europe. I’ll be rooting for this project to continue achieving its goals and that in the very near future it can be among the best teams in the world.
Thanks.
Hala Madrid
Thaisa was one of the original foreign signings Madrid made in 2019/20 and helped keep a much more mediocre Tacón side afloat before the success of this season. However, her role receded significantly with the arrivals of Maite Oroz and Teresa Abelleira and a serious injury, and the rumored transfer of Claudia Zornoza has probably contributed to her exit.
She won’t get to experience the UWCL anthem in the all-white kit, but original followers of the team will forever be grateful for her initial contributions, which helped lay the foundations for the success that Real Madrid hope to achieve.
