Real Madrid want to part ways with midfielder Dani Ceballos, that much is clear. Ceballos has spent the last two seasons playing for Arsenal and hasn’t done enough to convince the club that they should keep him, so Madrid want to sell him.
In that context, Ceballos has received interest from AC Milan and Betis. The midfielder is keen on making a return to his lifelong club and has reached a verbal agreement with Betis pending that the Andalusian side and Real Madrid can come to an understanding about his transfer, according to a report published on ABC.
Betis haven’t sent Real Madrid a formal offer for Ceballos just yet and Los Blancos want at least €25 million, per that same report. Betis do not want to pay that much money, so it looks like Madrid could find themselves in a situation where they have to lower their expectations unless other clubs send offers for Ceballos, given that it’s clear that Los Blancos don’t have much leverage in this situation.
