The goat has renewed his contract!

Per rumours, Lucas Vazquez declined better offers from other clubs. He also accepted a 10% paycut in the first season of his new 3-year contract.

Some of Lucaz Vazquez comments after his renewal was official:

We made history by threepeating the Champions League. To this day, we don’t get enough credit for it.

La Undecima penalty? I was very confident. I never even thought about missing it. I remember after the game I hugged my wife and brother and we all cried together.

I have played 240 games for Real Madrid and will fight to play even more. When I arrived here, I never thought I’d reach that number. I’m very happy with everything I have achieved.

Another contract renewal is set.

Pre-season

The pre-season will start on July 5, a week earlier as originally planned by Zidane. The date was changed by Ancelotti. It will mostly be spent in Madrid, but a few games around Europe are not off the table.
