It’s official. Real Madrid have announced the return of physical trainer Antonio Pintus via a statement published on their official website.

Pintus returns as Madrid’s lead physical trainer for the first team and he will also take care of the methodology for physical training for the other Real Madrid football teams around La Fabrica.

Fans were hoping for this signing as Pintus was the physical trainer in charge of Madrid’s conditioning during Zinedine Zidane’s first tenure with Los Blancos. Real Madrid struggled with injuries during this past season and the club and fans alike will be hoping that Pintus’ return improves the team’s chances of staying healthy and ultimately compete for trophies next season.
