Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid!!

Per the latest reports from ABC Deportes, Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid. Florentino Pérez wishes to speak with him to organize the farewell he deserves this June. The club wants to say goodbye with the importance Ramos has earned. The report goes on to state that Real Madrid have withdrawn the offer they made and the decision is already taken. Alaba will be Ramos’ replacement. I for one am not ready for this to happen yet. Then again the question becomes, is there ever a good time?

Nasser Al-Khelaifi Speaks about the Mbappe saga.

PSG overlord, Nasser Al-Khelaifi shot down any talk of Kylian Mbappe leaving the club this summer, making his position clear that the player will be staying in the French capital. “I will be clear,” Al-Khelaifi told L’Equipe. “Mbappe is going to stay in Paris.

“We will never sell I’m and he will never leave on a free [transfer]. Mbappe has everything he needs in Paris. Where can he go? What club, in terms of ambition, can compete with PSG today?”

“All I can say is that things are going well, and I hope we can reach an agreement [on a new contract]. This is Paris, this is his country. He has a mission, not only to play football, but to promote Ligue 1, his country and his capital.”

Copa America 2021: Argentina confirm their participation amidst cancellation rumors.

The AFA has confirmed that Argentina will participate in the upcoming Copa America tournament that is set to be held in Brazil. The statement reads:

“Argentina confirm their participation in the Copa America 2021, reflecting the sporting spirit that the team have had throughout their history.”

“With an enormous effort from the AFA, which prepared all the necessary tools to be able to guarantee the specific healthcare that we need in this difficult time that we are experiencing, the national team will travel to Brazil to play in the continental tournament.”

“All the staff of the Argentina team will work united to overcome this adversity which, sadly, affects all of us South Americans equally.”

Despite the AFA confirming Argentina’s participation in the Copa America, only time will tell if their players are willing to participate in the tournament or if they will boycott it
