Real Madrid have made an offer to Varane.
Marca reported that Real Madrid have made an offer to the defender but the player is yet to respond. I for one think that losing both Ramos and Varane in the same window is a bad bad idea. You don’t lose that kind of experience at the back and expect to have a good season. Militao has shown that he is ready to take the next step, so a Varane-Militao partnership for next season could be great. Lucas Navarrete also reported that Militao is seeking an improved role next season.
Another thought that’s been swirling in my head, has been to have Mendy permanently play center back. Let Alaba and Miguel compete for the left back spot. Quite a selection headache for Carlo but ultimately a good problem to have.
Josep Pedrerol: Mbappe has told Real Madrid that he will not renew his contract.
El Chiringuito TV’s rumor loving anchor Josep Pedrerol has reported that Mbappe will not renew his contract and has informed Real Madrid of the same. The young star apparently did not like the chairman’s comments about him staying at all. Pedrerol went on to state that In Paris, people think that Al-Khelaifi has lost control of the situation and is nervous about losing Mbappe.
Ancelotti wants Locatelli!!
Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli, who has been linked to Juventus is now on Real Madrid’s radar as reported by Rudy Galetti of Sportitalia. Carlo Ancelotti is apparently an admirer of the player and a fee in the region of 40 million is being rumored.
Brahim and Antonio Blanco have been called-up by Spain.
With Busquets having tested positive for Covid-19, the young Madridistas have been called up to face Lithuania. Brahim will wear the number 7 and Antonio Blanco will wear the number 16. None of the players of the first team can play, so Spain will field 11 different players for this friendly.
ICYMI: Churros y Tácticas Pocast: Will there be freakier athletes than Ronaldo?
Kiyan Sobhani and Diego Lorijn go through a range of topics from the concept of alcohol to how will Carlo Ancelotti use Martin Odegaard and more in this not to miss podcast.
