Real Madrid held a training match against Segunda Division side Fuenlabrada today at Valdebebas. Spanish radio station Cadena COPE reported that Los Blancos got a 3-1 win with goals from Chust, Odegaard and Mariano.

Ancelotti and his coaching staff focused mostly on the team’s physical training during the first week of pre-season but decided that this Sunday was the perfect opportunity to work on “tactics and game strategy,” according to Real Madrid’s official website.

Madrid are still missing most of their crucial players who were involved in both the Copa America and the UEFA Euro. These men will rejoin the squad in training over the next few weeks and some of them could be ready to face Glasgow Rangers in what will be the team’s first official pre-season game on July 25th.

La Liga kicks off on August 14th for Real Madrid, so the club will have to schedule some more pre-season friendlies if they want to reach that game against Alaves in good form and condition.
