The aqua-colored third jersey is reportedly inspired by the Kilometro Cero plaque at Madrid’s Puerta del Sol. The plaza is the geographical center of both Spain and the Spanish capital.
The design reportedly features “subtle compass needles” in reference to the plaque design as well as another unique logo on the back of the neck of the jersey.
The color and look of the kit is also reportedly inspired by Adidas’ EQT collection from the 1990s, so it is a bit of a throwback nod to Adidas’ clothing lines from the past. Footyheadlines does indicate that this leak is 85% accurate currently, so there is a possibility some changes will appear when the final version is released.
The report says that the third kit will be released around August 20, joining the Real Madrid home kit which has already been released while the away kit has also been leaked but not officially released as of yet.
