Real Madrid will host another pre-season training match against Rayo Vallecano this weekend, according to a report from AS. Instead of being a proper friendly game between the two teams, Rayo Vallecano will just visit Valdebebas and face Real Madrid in a training environment.

This is something Real Madrid already did last weekend when they played against Fuenlabrada. Carlo Ancelotti is using these sessions to implement his tactical approach and make sure that the team kicks-off the upcoming pre-season in good form. The match against Fuenlabrada ended 3-1 with goals from Chust, Odegaard and Mariano.

Keep in mind that Ancelotti will not have most of his crucial players at his disposal just yet as they will rejoin the squad in around 10 days. Benzema, Kroos, Modric, Varane, Alaba, Courtois on Hazard are part of that group, with players like Casemiro or Vinicius set to return to Madrid a bit later than that because of their presence in the Copa America Final.
