Bayern get stronger.

You knew it wouldn’t be long before someone of Sofia Jakobsson’s quality found a home. Mere days after her departure from Real Madrid, Bayern Munich swooped in and picked her up, though it’s a given that this transfer was well in the works before it actually happened.

Bayern were a very good team last season and are looking to take that next step forward to challenge the likes of FC Barcelona. The Bavarians outplayed Chelsea in the 1st leg of the UWCL semifinals before succumbing to a 4-1 defeat in the 2nd.

Sofia Jakobsson will join world class Swedish right back Hanna Glas and will probably strike up the same partnership they have on the right wing with the Swedish national team.

No football has been played in 2021/22, but this looks to be a good move for Jakobsson’s career. She will probably get more chances to play on her preferred flank and will be featuring for an instant Champions League contender.
