Real Madrid attacker Luka Jovic has talked to Serbian newspaper Informer, where he discussed his first two seasons in the club and also the reasons why he hasn’t performed at a high level.
“I know what my goals are, I try to make a positive impact and show my best game. The last two seasons could’ve been better for me but many things happened. In the end I want everything to be better because I’m a Real Madrid player for a reason. I didn’t talk with Ancelotti about my situation but now it’s my turn to give my best and be as ready as I can for the next season,” said Jovic.
The attacker was also asked about the possibility of leaving Real Madrid on yet another loan deal, something he didn’t rule out.
“My priority is to be in a quality league and play. At my age, if I leave I want to be in a place where I can be in the lineup, because I’ve already spent more time off the pitch than on it,” he said.
Jovic concluded his interview by saying that he hasn’t felt the pressure at Real Madrid.
“Of course it’s a huge responsibility to play for the world’s biggest club, I don’t have a problem with that and I don’t feel the pressure. I know my qualities and my worth. I just hope I can avoid injuries after so much time, the rest will be fine,” he added.
