Real Madrid Femenino’s offseason is in full swing, having said goodbye to a number of players while securing the first official signing of the summer. But Las Blancas management is already thinking ahead to preseason and has secured inclusion to the KAIF Trophy in Leoben, Austria.
The official website for the event bills the tournament as a meeting of elite women’s football teams over a four-day period.

This will be a good opportunity for Las Blancas to test themselves against continental competition prior to their qualification games in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. With close to half a dozen more signings expected to be finalized over the coming weeks, these matches will also be critical to forming some level of cohesion and chemistry before the real season begins.
